City of Ephes us was important city with so many purposes: It was a cult and really important faith center with Temple of Artemis. It has best examples of Greek and Roman architecture. Ephesus also known as a last home for Saint John The Baptist and Mother Mary. Today, the ruins of Ephesus are one of the major tourist attraction in Turkey and truly one of the most important heritage from Ancient Greek world.

The House of Virgin Mary located in a nature park between Ephesus and Seljuk, is believed to be the last residence of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus. The peaceful site is sacred to both Christians and Muslims, and is visited by many tourists and pilgrims
The Meryama was later visited by Popes Paul VI and John Paul II, who confirmed its appropriateness as a place of pilgrimage. On November 29, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI celebrated mass here.

The Temple of Artemis or Artemision was one of the Seven Wonder of the Ancient World. She known as a most respective god/godless in Hellenistic world. 12:30 Arrive Pamukkale - Open buffet lunch
You will be able to see:
Pamukkale which has been used as a spa since the second century BC literally means "cotton castle" in Turkish.
The travertine features have their origins in the shifting of a fault in the valley of the Menderes river. As the fault shifted, very hot springs with a very high mineral content (notably chalk) arose at this location. Apart from the slightly radioactive minerals, the calcium and hydrogen carbonate react to create calcium carbonate (also known as travertine) and limestone. This is what gives Pamukkale its whiteness and created the pools. It can get quite hot in summer, a hat and especially sunglasses will certainly be very helpful against the sun and the reflecting sun rays from the chalky cascades.
Hierapolis was founded as a thermal spa early in the 2nd century BCE and given by the Romans to Eumenes II, king of Pergamon in 190 BCE. The city was named after the existing temple, or possibly to honour Hiera that calls Hierapolis. Hierapolis became a healing centre where doctors used the hot thermal springs as a treatment for their patients. First century AD golden age of Hierapolis started and Roman batshs, gymnasium, several temples and The theatre built. The town grew to 100,000 inhabitants and became wealthy. In the early 7th century CE, the town was devastated by Persian armies and again by a destructive earthquake that city lost its importance. Today both Pamukkale and Ancient City of Hierapolis are UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

Cappadocia region to be formed 60 million years ago, Mount Erciyes , Hasandağı and Güllüdağ 's lava and ash in the soft layers formed over millions of years of rain and wind by the grinding has emerged. The Hattis, followed by the Hittites, Phrygians, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuk’s, and Ottomans were all enchanted by the allure of Cappadocia and left the imprint of their own presence here but the most important period was early Christianity. Cappadocia was a refuge for the early Christians, who escaped persecution by living and worshipping underground. There are an estimated 3000 rock churches in this region, not all of which are open to the public. Surrounding the area are the amazing rock formations known evocatively as Peri Bacaları or 'Fairy Chimneys'.

Devrent Valley: Devrent is situated on the northern slopes of Aktepe, 1km from Pasabaglari (Monks’ Valley) and 5 km from Avanos. The ruins at Devrent are spread over three valleys, which also house several pointed fairy chimneys with large stems.

Monks Valley: The best place to see three-headed fairy chimneys. Pasabag, the Pasha's Vineyard, is surrounded by incredible natural rock formations; a spectacular scene.

Avanos: A center of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC, it is a town where you will be invited to visit a traditional pottery workshop, which is possibly set deep into the hillsides. The clay, which comes from the Red River passing through the town, gives life both to the land and to the local economy.

Göreme which have the old names of Korama is 13 km far away from the city of Nevsehir. The valley created from volcanic rocks is famous with the chimney rocks resulting from the erosion made by the natural factors to these rocks and with the historical richness. It has been an important religious place together with the intensive emigration of the first Christians escaping from the pressure of the Roman soldiers. The population escaped from the pressures has made many abbeys, churches and houses in the volcanic rocks from the valley where they were able to hidden easily. Today in Goreme there are Elmali Church, Saint Barbara Church, Carikli Church, Tokali Church and Hidden Church and all of these are Goreme Open Air Museum. In the churches there are scenes from the life of Jesus, descriptions of the saints who written the Bible and pictures of Saint Barbara and Saint Georgius.
Uchisar: Uchisar is a troglodyte town situated right in the middle of Cappadocia. It is named after the enormous piece of rock in the center of the town, which was once used as a castle. This extraordinary rock is the highest peak of the area with the view of whole Cappadocia and Erciyes (Argeus) Mountain.

Day 10 - Eminönü Area And Shopping

Pleaces will be visit:

Rustem Paha Mosque: The Rüstem Pasha Mosque was designed by Ottoman imperial architect Mimar Sinan for Grand Vizier Damat Rüstem Pasha (husband of one of the daughters of Suleiman the Magnificent, Princess Mihrimah). Rüstem Pasha died in July 1561 and the mosque was built after his death from around 1561 until 1563. The mosque complex hosts now a Koran School.

Mahmud Pasha: It is one of the central shopping areas between Spice market and Grand Covered Bazaar in Eminönü

Grand Baazar: In addition to its historical importance, it's a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.
Spice market: There are several documents suggesting the name of the bazaar was first "New Bazaar". The building was endowed to the foundation of the New Mosque, and got its name ("Egyptian Bazaar", Turkish: Mısır Çarşısı) because it was built with the revenues from Egypt. The word mısır has a double meaning in Turkish: "Egypt" and "maize". This is why sometimes the name is wrongly translated as "Corn Bazaar". The bazaar was (and still is) the center for spice trade in Istanbul, but in the last years more and more shops of other type are replacing the spice shops.
