Kayseri Grand Bazaar Located in the Cumhuriyet District of Melikgazi District, the Grand Bazaar occupies a very large place in the commercial fabric of Kayseri. Hunat Hatun Mosque and Complex Wife of Alaeddin Keykubad II. It was built by Mahperi Hatun, the mother of Keyhüsrev, between 1237-1246. This social complex, consisting of a mosque, madrasah, tomb and bath, is one of the most beautiful and important examples of Seljuk works in Anatolia, both in its general appearance and in its construction style.
Güpgüpoğlu Mansion/Ethnographic Museum It consists of two main sections: Selamlık and Haremlik. The harem section was arranged as an old Kayseri House and home life was animated with mannequins. In the Selamlık Section, which can be climbed by a staircase with a wooden railing with stone steps, Turkish-Islamic period artifacts belonging to the Kayseri region are exhibited. In the garden, Islamic tombstones and stone decoration pieces are exhibited and presented to visitors.
Kayseri Archeology Museum Tour: Kayseri Museum: During the museum studies after the declaration of the Republic, the works started to be collected in 1928 and were stored in Kayseri High School. The deputy of education of the period also visited Kayseri during his tour of Central Anatolia, where the governor and the director of education decided to establish a museum. After this, work to establish a museum in Huand Hatun Madrasa began. The works preserved in Kayseri High School were moved to the madrasah whose repairs were completed. Meanwhile, large-scale inscriptions were preserved in Sahabiye Madrasa.
Kayseri Museum was opened on March 1, 1930, and became a directorate in 1937. The chronological classification and arrangement of the works in the museum was made by H.H.Von der Osten. After this work was completed, the Kayseri Museum was reopened to visitors in 1938 with a new arrangement.
The density of artifacts in the Kayseri region and the Kültepe excavations showed that the Huand Hatun madrasah was not sufficient, so the land belonging to the old hospital building near Gültepe Park was expropriated. The construction of the new museum, the plan of which was drawn by Master Architect İhsan Kıygın, started in 1965, and after the works were moved here, the museum was opened to visitors in its new building on June 26, 1969.
A marble Herakles sarcophagus was unearthed in 1991 during the foundation excavations of the Cultural Site built next to the Kayseri Archaeological Museum. This sarcophagus is one of the main works in the museum.

List of the places you will visit
Kayseri Surp Krikor Lusavoric Armenian Church: Today, seven churches are belonging to the Armenian community in Anatolia. The most important and oldest is the Surp Krikor Illuminator Armenian Church in Kayseri. Both tourists visiting Anatolia, those who come to visit the church for the feast, and even government officials, intellectuals, and tourism-related circles want to have information about this church. The church, whose foundations were laid in 1191, is one of the rare churches that has survived until today.
According to the 2011 Armenian Church calendar, these three important dates were determined as the imprisonment of St. Gregory the Illuminator in the well on April 9, his removal from the well in which he was imprisoned on June 25, and the discovery of his holy bones on July 9.
As we do every year, religious visits will be made to Kayseri Surp Krikor Lusavoriç Church twice in 2011, on April 1 and June 25.Kayseri Mother Mary Church - Kayseri City Library: Although this magnificent Church does not have a definitive inscription as to when and by whom it was built, it attracts attention with its 19th-century architectural features with a triangular pediment. This structure took its current form as a result of additions and repairs carried out between 1838 and 1875. Architectural Values and Plan Structure The church, which has a three-naved basilical plan in the east-west direction, stands out, especially with its striking entrance hall. The two-storey entrance space (narthex), consisting of three arches resting on four columns, presents the entrance of the church with a special emphasis.
Kayseri Roman Toub:The historical building, which survived from the Roman period, does not have an inscription. It is estimated that it was probably built in the 4th century during the Roman period. The tomb structure has a rectangular plan in the east-west direction. The structure was uncovered and restored in 1956. The east and west faces were built with triangular pediments. The building is entered through a door moved to the west end of the north façade. It is observed that the eaves have been activated with two rows of straight molding in the transition area to the upper cover. It is noteworthy that the wall carrying the triangular pedimented roof was built with two rows of stones, curved outward. The stones in the corners are arranged in the form of capitals with moldings. There are two ventilation windows on the east and west facades. There is no decoration on the triangular pediment surfaces. Although it was not possible to enter the building, its upper cover is thought to be a pointed vault. Gravestones dating back to the Islamic period, dated 1317-1318, were unearthed inside.
Yoğun bastion Kayseri city Walls: The building was known as a prison and government office from the 16th century. Today, culturally driven cafe services are provided. It is especially the meeting place for artists who continue the tradition of minstrelsy. The Arrow Bastion, which is a remaining part of the inner castle and the walls of the Seljuk Palace State House located here, is among the diversity of the castle. From the inscription on the castle part next to the bastion, it is understood that this part was built by the Anatolian Seljuk State Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I in 1224. The second floor of the original two-storey tower has not reached decay. The arrangement of the tower consists of four iwans in a cruciform plan, covered with a cross vault. It has a usable area of approximately 200 square meters, the restoration of which was completed by the Chamber of Architects in 2005. Today, the horoscope is used for cultural purposes by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality.
