List of the places you will visit

Derevenk Valley (Walking part): Derevenk Valley in Talas is very unknown, although it is very close to residential areas. Because, although there is no proper road to go to the valley, it is closed to vehicle traffic. It is ideal for those who will only walk and hosts those who make expeditions. Derevenk Valley stretches between Talas and Tavlusun Villages. Steep slopes and paths running along the edge of the cliff appeal to those who love adventure. Even though it is a difficult journey, it amazes you with the views it offers. Best of all, if you want to add some excitement to your exploration journeys in Kayseri, you should visit Derevenk Valley.

Tavlusun ( Agios Basileos ) Lower Greek Church in Kayseri: It is unknown when the Tavlusun Agios Basileos Church was built, but it is known that the building was repaired in 1819. Plan and architectural features: The building has a rectangular plan in the east-west direction. 14.00 x 17.00 m., internally 13.20 x 15.00 m. in size. On the west side of the north facade of the church, a two-room portico was created with pointed arches on three stone columns. The portico is covered with a pointed vault. The church, which consists of three naves, has a three-section narthex on the west façade. The north and south sides of the narthex are covered with a cross vault, and the middle section in the west is covered with a barrel vault. There is an entrance to the narthex from the north and west facades. The northern entrance was opened later. The north and south facades were later covered with walls.

Tavlusun Armenian Church, Kayseri Based on the fact that there was a repair edict dated 1835, it can be stated that the historical church took its current form in the first half of the 19th century. Plan and architectural features: The church, built in the north-south direction, is located in a courtyard. The upper cover is a pointed vault, supported by pointed arches placed on piers protruding from the east and west walls. On the belly of the arches, geometric decoration arranged in the form of diamond slices with blue and purple paints on plaster can be seen. It is noteworthy that on the northern façade where the apse is located, the apse floor is elevated from the floor of the worship space. It is noteworthy that the semi-dome-shaped upper cover of the apse was plastered and painted with predominantly blue paint, and the semi-dome was decorated in segments with black. While the sun motif symbolizing the Holy Spirit is depicted in the middle of the apse semi-dome, there are depictions of angels carrying pages from the Bible written in Armenian on the niches on both sides of the apse. Floral decorations with acanthus leaves are seen on the arch of the apse niche. In the circular medallions between the vaults, decorations consisting of objects such as crowns, books, crosses and plaques with Armenian writing can be seen. Predominantly shades of brown along with blue were used. It is noteworthy that the apse of the Armenian church in Tavlusun was built facing north rather than east (Jerusalem). It is understood that the church was directed to the Great Armenian Church in Yerevan. Decoration: The decorations in the building are mostly frescoes made with paint on plaster. Material and technique: Smooth cut stone was used throughout the structure.

Kayseri Germir Panagia Church: The church located on the valley slope that borders Germir from the west and the bell tower in the northwest looks quite impressive within the general architectural texture of the settlement. The inscription of the building is not in place. However, it is known that it was dedicated to the death of Mary and was built in 1837. The church, built with cut stones using the masonry construction technique, has a three-naved basilica scheme. A five-section narthex covered with a cross vault emphasizes the western entrance. There are side entrances at the western ends of the north and south walls. Additionally, entrance to the bema is provided from the north. The naves are separated from each other by two columns. The oval dome is crossed by pendentives between the 1st and 2nd columns of the central nave, and side naves; It is covered with a mixed system in which barrel and cross vaults are used together, and the west gallery is covered with cross vaults. The narthex and the gallery placed on the north and south walls surround the naos in a "U" shape. The church attracts attention with its neoclassical details and has simple facades.

Kayseri Germir Priest's House (old mansion): Germir houses have a very rich and colorful architecture due to the coexistence of different ethnic groups. It has character. They were built side by side on embankments in a rocky, narrow valley. They are often intertwined with the rocks they lean on. Import and export business in Germir. Famous merchants built magnificent stone mansions and houses with the money they earned, and paved all their avenues and streets.

Kayseri Germir School: According to the inscription on the entrance gate in the north, the school was built by Germirli İmamzade Ali Efendi in H.1329 (A.D. 1911) during the reign of Sultan Reşad, whose signature is engraved on the entrance portico.

Germir Historical Linseed Oil Mills Museum: The 'Germir Historical Linseed Oil Factory', which sheds light on 115 years of history in Kayseri, was restored and opened to visitors. Germir was the most important linseed oil production center of Central Anatolia in the past and there are nearly 50 linseed mills that are still standing but unused. One of them, this 'Germir Linseed Mill', has been restored to its original state and opened to visitors. Bezirhane, located in Germir District and inherited by Hamdi Yavuz's family, where linseed oil was produced in the 1900s, was donated to Melikgazi Municipality to be restored and added to the cultural heritage. As a result of approximately 2 years of work, the municipality restored Bezirhane to its original state and opened it to visitors
